Anybody involved in church sound is (or ought to be) concerned about the many changes going on with the frequencies we use for wireless mics. If things go against us, we could have real trouble with getting any wireless mics to work, and the FCC is virtually unaware of the church market as a user of wireless frequencies.
This is the very best explanation I've seen yet on the subject. Shure describes, in a video clip they made for CCI Solutions, what the issues are, which frequencies they affect, and what some of our options are. (Let me add that Shure is taking the lead in this critical discussion with the FCC: I'm very impressed with their leadership.)
