The reflected sou...</title><content type='html'>Here&amp;#39;s what I struggle with. The reflected sound off the plexiglass sounds terrible through the drum mics. Also without *any* acoustic drum noise hitting the ears it sounds so artificial, tone wise it offends my ears. Not to mention the aesthetic ugliness of your drummer sitting in a cage. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We have a pretty small room, seats about 200, we play with no cage and it&amp;#39;s pretty loud in there. MUCH louder than your usual worship service, which is fine for the type of congregation we have and the music we play. But I would like to get the acoustic volume of the drums down mainly for recording purposes. The bleed through from the drums to our 58s is ridiculous.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;How effective do you think placing foam behind, on the sides and above the staqe, without a cage would be to reduce stage volume?
